We have just closed our Santa Rosa location and will be opening our brand new store in Healdsburg in March, 2010.
Your Party Packages seem expensive, are they?
We have taken a great deal of time figuring out our prices. We want to offer you the highest quality party at an affordable price and our prices reflect this. In our research we have found that the typical family spends close to 400.00 on a child's party and that includes them doing all the work! See a typical breakdown here.
Why isn't a party host included in the birthday party and shower packages?
This used to be offered, but we listened to feedback and found that many people were upset with paying a gratuity. The gratuity was the only pay we were able to give our party host, so it was keep the gratuity or lose the host. In these economic times, we just want people to be able to afford to have a fabulous birthday party or baby shower for their loved one. Hosting is pretty easy and fun, so we rather you save the money, then us make the money! You can still add on a party host, if it is just something you don't want to do.
Are the parents, friends or family allowed to stay during the Birthday parties?
Yes they are welcome to stay and watch, but we also encourage parents to take a stroll through our store or visit other shops around railroad square during the party. We only ask that the host child's parent take full responsibility for all children left during the event.
How long do the parties last?
Party times are planned to begin at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Our parties last about 1 1/2 hours unless more time is added on at an additional cost. Please arrive on time as to not take away from your event.
What are the best ages for your parties?
Each child is different and we welcome all ages, but we believe our parties are most suited for 4 years and up.
Where do you get the cakes and cupcakes at your parties?
We are proud to use Patisserie Angelica for our cakes. They are a a fabulous all butter bakery in Sebastopol. If you haven't had a chance to taste one of their creations, let us just promise you, it will be nothing short of delicious! Our cupcakes are brought in from Sift Cupcakery in Cotati and they are simply the best cupcakes around! We could save a lot of money by getting cakes at Safeway or Costco, but we feel it's a special day and it deserves something perfect!
